Another of the colorful freight cars sold in 1956-57 was this orange boxcar with black and white logo of the New Haven railroad. Sheet metal door guides held the orange-painted doors in place. Like the other cars of the era, this car had knuckle couplers and trucks with sintered-iron frames.
