This boxcar, which was painted white and lettered in black "GILBERT'S GRADE A MILK PASTEURIZED" was sold in 1956 and 1957. The door on one side of the car did not open, but the other side of the car had two opening doors installed with riveted-on metal door guides. The black man inside with a wite unform placed four milk cans on a white panted metal stand, which came with the car (it is not included) along with a control rail.
The condition of this box car is a C-6, excellent based on visual inspection according to TCA standards.
